I love daisies! :O)
I love their sunny little faces and how they often blush pink at the tips of their exuberant petals. I love how they can grow almost everywhere, even in impossibly hostile places. I love the cheerful way they scatter themselves all over the place in Summer.
Such a beautiful, humble flower, the daisy taught me, as a very young child, how to look closer at things, how to appreciate simplicity and how to make one thing into another (daisy chains of all kinds and little lamb’s tails!)
So I decided (following my own advice) to set myself a challenge and see how many Heartmade daisy projects I can come up with this week. I’ll write a post next Monday to share them.
The only limitation is that of the Heartmade philosophy. They have to be made with things I already have!
Why not have a go yourself?
Choose something you love and try and make one of your own.
You could try salt dough, patchwork, applique, cardmaking, scrapbooking, decoupage, papier mache, gardening, baking, knitting … or whatever you like.
Have fun! :O)
